Below are the most frequently asked questions about The London Gift Fair

  • Can anyone visit London Gift Fair 2010?

    London Gift Fair 2010 is a trade only show, which means that you need to be able to prove you are a part of the retail trade. Exhibitors have a 'minimum order' policy and will not sell to members of the public.

  • Do I need to provide proof of trade?

    Yes. Spot checks for proof of trade will be in operation. You should have proof of trade on you which can include a business card or a company cheque book. If you are found buying for personal use, you will be asked to leave the exhibition.

  • How do I register?

    Register online by clicking the Register Now link in the left hand menu. If you have visited our shows before, please continue to use the same reference number to register. This allows us to track your attendance and reward you with potential Indigo Club status.

  • How can I register my colleague?

    Once you have registered online, there will be an option for you to register a colleague. You can register as many of your team as you like. All visitors to the show must have their own unique reference number and badge.

  • How much does it cost to visit London Gift Fair 2010?

    Entry is free if you pre-register prior to the show (click on the Register Now button in the left hand menu). For all those who aren't pre-registered, there will be an onsite 20 fee. 

  • When do I get my badge?

    If you have registered in plenty of time, you will receive your Essential Guide with your badge in the post approximately 2 weeks before the show. 

    If you register to Go Green, your badge will be emailed to you.

    When you register for London Gift Fair, you will be issued with a reference number which will be confirmed by email. In the event that your ticket does not arrive in time, please bring this reference number with you to the show. There will be fast-track ticket machines at the entrance to re-issue you with a pass.

  • What is the Indigo Club?

    The Indigo Club is a loyalty club for the most loyal department store, multiple, and independent buyers to Clarion Events retail trade shows.

    Complimentary tea, coffee and cloakroom facilities will be available.

    Please note: In order to obtain/retain your membership for next year you need to have attended any three of our shows this year, or the same show for three consecutive years (please note you need to use the same reference number during registration for each of the shows to do this) 

  • What is the Elect Club?

    All exhibitors are entitled to invite their key buyers as Elect Club visitors, entitling them to fast track entry, use of the Indigo Club lounge, and free cloakroom use. If you have been nominated, your badge will state your Elect Club status, and the accompanying badge letter will highlight that you have been nominated by an exhibitor. 

  • Can I bring my young child with me?

    If you choose to bring your young child with you to the London Gift Fair, you must be responsible for the child, and be aware that we have no creche facilities. We do not promote London Gift Fair as an environment suitable for children. Please note that children do not need to register to attend.

  • Can I obtain a visa to travel to the show?

    We are not able provide visas for international visitors to attend our shows.
