What Retailers Think
London Gift Fair has already attracted attention from buyers throughout the south of England here are some comments from buyers that will be visiting the show in September.
Stephanie Tod, Owner
Cascade
"Cascade is a gift shop in a village location, we have regular customers that pop in to buy gifts for all ages. Were not based in a tourist area, so it is important to have a range of stock that is constantly being updated and added to, so that our customers come back.
Our top sellers are candles, mugs and traditional toys. We pride ourselves on having a range of products that are suitable for all ages from new born to 100!
I'm keen to see the new companies that will be at London Gift Fair in September. We will be visiting our existing suppliers to see whats new, but love to discover brand new companies to keep our range up-to-date.
Trade shows are where you get the bite of something exciting,
something that you know your customers will love. Im looking
forward to London Gift Fair and seeing what new products are on
offer."
Alexis Cates, Shop Manager
Fulham Palace Garden Centre
The Fulham Palace Garden Centre is owned by the charity Fairbridge, sponsoring inner city youth. It has an old English/French feel with a modern twist and will be celebrating its 25th anniversary this year.
"As well as selling a large selection of plants we stock a variety of gift and household items. Being so close to Chelsea means our customers expect something different and of a high quality its important for us to offer them this.
When we attend a show, we are trying to find something new and exciting that would appeal to our demanding customers. We are always on the lookout for new companies and products to give us the edge over others; favourite items include natural beauty products, candles and glassware. Childrens toys are also more popular than ever.
I'm really looking forward to visiting the London Gift Fair. Christmas is a very busy time for us, so having the opportunity to stock up on last minute products in time for the season is key."
